New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker joined his fellow Democrats in encouraging people to get out and vote at a rally in Milwaukee on Thursday.

Booker also urged attendees to support his party’s presidential contender, Hillary Clinton, and former U.S. Sen. Russ Feingold who is challenging incumbent Ron Johnson.

Booker said a Feingold victory would help Democrats gain control of the Senate, giving a boost to a Clinton presidency.

“I can talk ad nauseam about Secretary Clinton,” Booker said. “But she knows, and you hear her starting to say it on the stump, that it’s not enough to elect her president if we don’t have the Senate and her agenda gets undermined.”

Some Republicans who worry about their presidential nominee Donald Trump losing have said it’s important for the GOP to keep control of the Senate, as a check against Clinton policies.

Booker didn’t take questions from the media covering the Milwaukee rally. He also spoke at a private fundraiser.
