Long-term Effects of Judicial Election Unclear

Judge Michael Gableman this week became the first candidate for
Wisconsin Supreme Court to defeat an incumbent justice in more than 40
years.The question now is what the result of the race… and the way
it was run… will mean for the future of the state’s judicial system.
