La Crosse man an accidential archaeologist

Dan Maas didn’t set out to become an amateur archaeologist when he started building pole barns in the La Crosse area more than 40 years ago, but in the course of leveling earth he’s turned up thousands of interesting and historically significant pieces of pottery and spear heads.
Maas is the owner of La Crosse Building Systems, and spoke about his finds with WPR’s Terry Bell.
