Human Trafficking

Featured in this Show

  • Human Trafficking Conference

Experts say there’s no doubt human trafficking, forcing someone into slavery or prostitution, exists in the Coulee Region, but there’s little discussion of it. That discussion starts next week with the first June Kjome Social Justice Conference that will focus on the issue of human trafficking. The conference is being held November 7th at UW-La Crosse.

  • International Justice Mission

The International Justice Mission is a human rights organization that works to end human trafficking around the globe. We talk with Mike Hogan who is the national director of church mobilization programs for IJM about the issue of human trafficking and the work of the organization. Hogan recently visited La Crosse to work with area churches and schools.
