I Wish My Teacher Knew__________
It began as a simple question posed to students by third-grade teacher Kyle Schwartz: “I wish my teacher knew_______” The responses Schwartz received ranged from funny to poignant to heartbreaking. The exercise has inspired many teachers to do the same and has helped shift Schwartz’s approach to teaching. She joins us to talk about what she has learned from her students and what educators and parents can learn from them.
