New Grant to Produce Special Programs on Islam
A grant from the national Social Science Research Council (SSRC) will allow UW-Madison and Here on Earth to launch a special radio and Web programs on Islam and Muslims in the world.
Jean's Book Picks up Award
Jean's new book, "I Hear Voices: A Memoir of Love, Death, and the Radio," came out in September last year. It has been selected as the winner of this year's Kingery/Derleth Booklength Nonfiction Award, sponsored by the Council for Wisconsin Writers.
