Václav Havel, who died on Sunday, will be remembered as a moral beacon in a sometimes rudderless world. Perhaps best known as the leader of the Velvet Revolution, Havel was also a dissident playwright and philosopher, a tireless human rights activist and a world leader. We will look at Václav Havel from all these perspectives as we try to shed light on his complex life.
