As a stranger in a strange land Carlos Eire, along with his brother and another 14,064 young boys and girls, were airlifted from Cuba as a part of Operation Peter Pan in 1962. Carlos' life changed irrevocably, yet he eventually found himself climbing up from the bottom of the heap.
