Adventures with Russian Books and the People Who Love Them: Elif Batuman has managed to write a book about Russian literature that's actually funny. Difficult as it is to pin down what it's actually all about, it's so intriguing that we just had to have a whack at it since it's been described as a cross between Borges and Borat.
