The New Bilingual Literature

Susana Chávez-Silverman's memoirs might make you look twice, unless you grew up in a bilingual family, too. Chávez-Silverman is one of only a handful of bilingual writers who code switch mid-sentence, moving back and forth between two languages-for her, Spanish and English. We'll discuss the artistic riches of being born between languages.
