A Woman Tabla Player Lightens Up Afghanistan

Tabla is a pair of drums traditionally played by men in religious singing. A woman tabla player is unheard of in Afghanistan until an Indian-American woman held a concert there recently. This hour on Here On Earth, Jean Feraca talks with Suphala about playing tabla in Kabul.
