WPR Celebrates Door County in 2008

This year, Wisconsin Public Radio celebrates the listeners of Door County. We hope to see you and hear from you in the coming months!

Joy Cardin LIVE in Door County Friday September 26th

Join Joy Cardin's Free Live Broadcast at The Inn at Cedar Crossing in Sturgeon Bay on Friday, September 26th @ 6 a.m. This three hour broadcast will feature a call-in discussion about life and activities in Door County and current political events and issues. After the broadcast there will be a breakfast with Joy Cardin speaking. The breakfast will include coffee, 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, and bacon. The breakfast and program discussion with Joy after the live broadcast will cost $15.

6-9 a.m. - Free Live Radio Broadcast
9 a.m. - Talk with Joy Cardin
9:30-10:30 a.m. - Breakfast with Joy Cardin

We hope to see all WPR Fans there bright and early for their morning talk time and a hot cup of coffee.

Randall Davidson's 9XM Talking Book Discussion

Join Randall Davidson in discussion at the Miller Arts Museum in the Sturgeon Bay Library in Door County on Wednesday, October 15 at 1:00 p.m.

Randall's book, 9XM Talking, is about the fascinating history of the pioneering and innovative work of Wisconsin's educational and public radio stations, from the first broadcast by experimental station 9XM to the network of stations known today as Wisconsin Public Radio.

HD Radio Listener Sessions

Listeners learn about HD Radio and are able to ask questions regarding this new and improved radio technology. The location of these two events are yet to be determined. One listener session will be in Sturgeon Bay and the other in Baileys Harbor. These events will take place in October. More information will be available soon!
