The state Department of Justice has started publishing a list of pending record requests online.

The agency announced in a news release Wednesday that it has added the list to its website and plans to update it weekly. The list contains the name of the requestor, a description of the records being sought and when the request was made.

The release said the agency is looking into whether it’s technically feasible and appropriate to post all responses to public record requests online as well. DOJ spokesman Johnny Koremenos said the agency is considering posting the responsive records as well.
