The Wine Business; Dealing With Death

Featured in this Show

  • The Wine Business

In the last ten years, wine production in Wisconsin has taken off. While the state has about 60 wineries, most have spread vines in the last decade. More than 20 wineries were established in 2010 and 2011 alone, including the Danzinger Vineyards in Alma and Elmaro Vineyard in Trempealeau. We talk with representatives of those vineyards about the wine business and the impact the industry has on tourism.

  • Dealing With Death

A Gundersen Health System bereavement specialist has co-authored a new book on coping with the death of a child. We talk to Associate Director of the Resolve Through Sharing Program Rana Limbo and a West Salem mother who lost two children to miscarriage about the importance of having a ritual to remember the death of a child.
