Perseid Meteors, American Westerns
Attorney General Eric Holder is mandating changes that would do away with mandatory drug sentences for some drug-related crimes. Cynthia Schuster and Rob Ferrett speak with Eugene Jarecki, the director of "The House I live In", about how the war on drugs has affected the prison industry. Then, the annual Perseid meteor shower lit up skies this weekend...Cynthia and Rob talk to a science writer about where these meteors come from and how you can best view them. They'll also talk about the fall of the Western in American cinema, and why we might need the genre now more than ever.
