Candidate Megna Looks From Lemons To Supreme Court

By

State Supreme Court candidate Vince Megna is among those raising concerns about more alleged problems at the state court. Megna says he can heal the court and help protect consumers.

Megna and fellow challenger Ed Fallone are freshly criticizing incumbent Justice Patience Roggensack for recently claiming that Supreme Court members are getting along better now. Megna says a letter released Wednesday by Justice Ann Walsh Bradley asserting ongoing worries about Justice David Prosser shows that Roggensack is deliberately misleading people: “Justice Bradley’s statement shows that Roggensack’s statement is a lie. The court is not working fine. “

Megna has been saying he’s on good terms with all the justices, and can help them get along. Another key part of the Milwaukee attorney’s election campaign has to do with autos.

Jim Mortle starts one the vehicles he has at his home in Muskego. Eight years ago, Mortle hired Vince Megna to help fight the Chrysler Corporation over repeated major problems with Mortle’s Dodge Viper. Mortle says Megna helped win the so-called ‘lemon law’ case and has what it takes to be a good jurist, “If he wouldn’t see both sides, he wouldn’t be picking cases very well. If he doesn’t see both sides, he’s going to be losing a lot of cases.”

Megna has done two unusual things in the high profile non-partisan contest for Supreme Court justice. He’s declared that he’s a Democrat and has raised very little money. Megna says not seeking donations allows him to pledge that he will fairly and independently interpret the law.
