My girlfriend Honore owns a coffee. I was working for her as a barista. We shared a frustration. The difficulty of finding a mate. Being optimistic, I said "Don't worry the men of our dreams will walk through that door. "

A couple months later while working I look up to greet the next customer. I say to myself,"Oh my!" In walks a fantastic man. I don't know if anyone else saw the glow around him, but I couldn't stop starring. He greeted me with a warm hello. I held myself together. I wanted to run and hide. I managed it greet him back and ask what he'd like. "What's good?" he asked.

After conversation and his two hazelnut lattes. He said goodbye. I turned to Honore and she was ready with her knowing look. The worst was I didn't know if I'd ever see him again. He was on his way to PA. I just knew he was the one.

After a long lonely winter, our paths crossed. My heart soared. He was back for a visit. We discovered we had some of the same friends. We had a five year long distance relationship, until this last March when he got a job in the area. And in this last April we got married. We boast that the honeymoon isn't over. It certainly feels like the beginning of happily ever after.

P.S. I also discovered he dislikes sweets. So why did he drink 2 hazelnut lattes? Maybe you should ask him.
