To the Best of Our Knowledge PROMO 7/1/2007 "Leadership in War" *When do we most need our leaders? In times of crisis? In times of war? In this hour of To the Best of Our Knowledge Winston Churchill's biographer Martin Gilbert explains how the man who offered his nation only blood, sweat, toil and tears made it believe that was enough. And he says Churchill's approach to all-party government could solve America's problems in Iraq. PROGRAM RUNDOWN: "Leadership in War" 0:00 - 23:23 SEGMENT 1: (23:24) Deborah Scranton, director of "The War Tapes," tells Jim Fleming that she got volunteers from the New Hampshire National Guard to record their experiences in combat in Iraq for one year. And we hear clips from "The War Tapes." Also, Martin Gilbert is Winston's Churchill's biographer. His latest published volume of "Churchill: A Life" is "Churchill and America."
