Martin Amis comes to terms with his famous father – the writer Kingsley Amis. And the story of a military father who was an officer but no gentleman – he committed incest and then had his accuser court-martialed!

Acclaimed novelist Martin Amis talks about growing up as the son of another famous novelist — Kingsley Amis. He says his father found his prose "too much like hard work," but was the perfect confidant when his marriage ended. He describes the effects of Kingsley's last illness and how his own fatherhood has changed his feelings about his parents. Martin Amis is the author of several novels and "Experience: A Memoir." Also, Louise Barnett, author of "Ungentlemanly Acts: The Army's Notorious Incest Trial," tells Jim Fleming about the case of Captain Andrew Geddes. In 1879, during the Victorian Age, Geddes was tried and convicted of slandering a fellow officer, even though the man was clearly guilty of sexually abusing his daughter.

James Bradley is the son of John Bradley, one of the six G.I.'s who raised the flag at Iwo Jima. Bradley tells Jim Fleming about the battle, and why his father would never discuss his combat experiences. James Bradley's book (a best-seller) is "Flags of Our Fathers."
