Bill Requests the DNR Cuts the Cormorant Population

Two state lawmakers want the DNR to go after a bird they say is hurting the supply of yellow perch in Lake Michigan.They say the Double-crested Cormorant is chowing down on the fish that’s a staple of Friday night Fish Fries.But at least one wildlife expert says if yellow perch are declining it’s not the bird’s fault.Patty Murray reports…
