The Great Wisconsin Public Radio Auction : Here’s how it works!
| You must pre-register before being able to bid online. | |
| Bidding must be done in whole dollars. | |
| Look over the list of auction items on this Web site. (Some listed values are estimates.) | |
| Bid on the items you want anytime up until the time each item closes. You may listen to the auction November 6-8, 6-9 p.m. each night on 88.3 WHWC/ Menomonie-Eau Claire, but listening is not necessary to bid online. | |
| During the period described, online bidders will be joined by phone bidders from our auction broadcast. When the bid period expires, you will no longer be able to bid on the items in that bid period. No new phone calls will be taken once the bid period ends, although bidders already on the phone when the period ends will be allowed to place their bids. | |
| Certificates and smaller items of merchandise may be mailed. Items may be picked up from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at Wisconsin Public Radio studios at 1221 West Clairemont Avenue in Eau Claire, beginning Monday, November 12. All purchases should be closed by Friday, November 23, although other arrangements may be considered on a case-by-case basis. | |
| Tie bids may occasionally occur. In the event of a tie, all parties sharing the high bid will be contacted and will bid against one another until one bidder remains. | |
