Senator Kohl’s Favorability Ratings
ð 70% of respondents had a favorable view of Senator Kohl
ð Among Democrats, Kohl’s favorability was 86%, while it was 64% among Independents and 56% among Republicans
U.S. Senate Election
ð Kohl leads the field in the election race for his seat in the U.S. Senate.
ð 52% of registered voters said they would vote for Kohl
ð 50% of all respondents said they would vote for Kohl
ð 71% of Democrats said they would vote for Kohl
ð 32% of Republicans said they would vote for Kohl
ð 46% of Independents said they would vote for Kohl
U.S. House Election
ð Slightly more people said they were going to vote for the Democratic candidate in their U.S. House election in their district than Republican
ð 40% said they would vote for a Democratic candidate, compared to 31% for a Republican candidate
ð The vote was mostly on party lines for Democrats and Republicans, while Independents were nearly evenly split with 21% saying they would vote for a Democratic candidate, 23% for a Republican and 17% for an Independent candidate.
