JOB FUNCTIONS
- Collaborate with a range of internal and external partners to execute high-quality outreach initiatives.
- Execute and manage statewide marketing plans.
- Communicate clearly, accurately and effectively with excellent written, verbal and oral communication skills; write and edit quickly and effectively.
- Work well under pressure and consistently complete work by agreed upon deadlines.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS -
Bachelor’s degree and 1 to 2 or more years of relevant job-related experience.
- Experience in marketing or related field
- Proven ability to manage all aspects of large-scale projects.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate productively with external organizations and the ability to work in partnership with internal departments.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Professional record of writing clearly, engagingly and persuasively for a variety of audiences.
- Experience working with diverse and multicultural communities.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous public radio experience.
- An understanding the Milwaukee / southeastern Wisconsin media market and public broadcasting’s role within that market.
SALARY:
The range for this position is $15, 427 – 23,139 at 50% appointment. The Full time equivalent is $30,853 – 46,278. Actual pay will be dependent upon qualifications and experience. WPR offers a comprehensive benefits package.
