On the air since 1979, Simply Folk brings you concerts recorded in Wisconsin ...songs for the season... the music and dance of people the world over. It's broadcast on two networks, 32 radio stations and online every Sunday evening from 5pm until 8pm CT. Stephanie Elkins has been the Simply Folk host and producer since January 2011, and she has brought in other voices and established some new features: Sile Shigley, WPR's folk music librarian, is on the air with new releases from time to time, and Jeff Durkee provides highlights of the folk calendar monthly.

Stephanie maintains an active Simply Folk Facebook page where listeners and musicians are warmly invited to post photos, songs, events and comments. SIMPLY FOLK ON FACEBOOK

Stephanie also welcomes live performers into the Simply Folk studio.
