Eyes across the nation are focused on Baraboo this week for the trial of a Sauk County farmer charged with illegally selling raw milk. Joy Cardin talks with a reporter with the latest from the courtroom, a critic who says lawmakers should not support the sale of unpasteurized milk, and an advocate to make the case for raw milk's health benefits and legalization.

In the wake of the sequester, and ongoing discussions about how the government should spend money, U.S. Rep. Reid Ribble has introduced federal legislation that would change WHEN the U.S. government spends money: specifically, he thinks the federal budget, like the Wisconsin state budget, should be completed in two-year cycles instead of annually. He joins Joy to discuss that and other national issues.

Guest: Reid James Ribble is an American politician who has been the U.S. Representative for Wisconsin's 8th congressional district since 2011. He is a member of the Republican Party.

Every generation has a diagnosis that defines them, and for this generation, it’s post-traumatic stress disorder. That’s according to Gene Purcell’s guest, who says that drugs have been used to treat those past afflictions…but the treatment for PTSD and trauma is far more complex than a pill.
