The Gaza conflict from the perspective of citizens affected. We talk with moderate Israelis and Palestinians to explore their mutual frustrations, and what can be done to reduce the excuses for violence.

  • Rebecca Subar, is an American Jew, former Orthodox Zionist turned secular humanist, and professional mediator (principal at Rebecca Subar Management Consulting and Senior Consultant with CMPartners and the Bridgeway Group). A recent project includes teaching negotiation to Palestinian professionals and political actors on the West Bank.
  • Wafa' Abdel Rahman, Founder of FILASTINIYAT, an NGO committed to ensuring and supporting the equitable participation of women and youth at all levels of public discourse, member of the International Women's Commission for Just and Sustainable Peace in Palestine and Israel. Hostess of television talk- show “Filastistiniyat” that aims at introducing young women leaders to the media.
  • Sam Bahour, a Palestinian-American based in Ramallah, Palestine. He is a freelance business consultant, worked to establish PALTEL and the PLAZA Shopping Center and currently serves as a Board of Trustees member at Birzeit University and is the University’s treasurer. Sam writes frequently on Palestinian affairs and is co-editor of HOMELAND: Oral History of Palestine and Palestinians.
  • Chen Alon, former Major in the Israeli military. After many years of service Chen quit the army and is now a member of Combatants for Peace, made up of past Israeli and Palestinian
