Someone once said "The trouble with the rat race is, even if you win, you're still a rat." In this hour of To the Best of Our Knowledge, tips for escaping the daily grind. How to invest your work with soul. And, a Manhattan couple who traded the fast lane for a two lane, and moved into an RV.

SEGMENT 1:
John Robinson has researched how Americans use their time. He tells Steve Paulson that we have more free time than ever, and that we spend it watching television. We just feel busier because the pace of life has increased. Robinson (with Geoffrey Godbey) is the author of "Time for Life: The Surprising Ways Americans Use Their Time."
SEGMENT 2:
Marilyn Abraham and her husband, Sandy MacGregor left their high-powered jobs and lives in New York City for a four month road trip to Alaska. Now, as they tell Steve Paulson, their RV is home and they travel all the time. Marilyn's book is called "Why We Quit Our Jobs."
SEGMENT 3:
Stan Davis tells Jim Fleming that information is today's hot commodity and that the markets of the future will be shaped by speed, connectivity and what he calls intangibles. Davis is the author (with Christopher Meyer) of "Blur: The Speed of Change in the Connected Economy." Also, psychiatrist Bill Anthony tells Jim Fleming that Americans are sleep-deprived. He thinks we should take more naps, even at work. Employers would have happier, more productive employees if they let peple snooze on the job during their breaks. Anthony directs the Center for Psychiatric Rehabilitation at Boston University. Also, we sample some listener letters.
